Artificial Intelligence Reshaping Human Resource Management: Implications for Faculty Management in Higher Education
Abstract
Since the early 21st century, artificial intelligence technology has developed rapidly and been widely applied across numerous industries. Against this backdrop, corporate human resource management is undergoing profound transformations, and its transition paths and successful practices offer valuable references for other fields. As a core component of the education system, university faculty management can also draw insights from these developments. This paper analyzes the current state and challenges of traditional corporate human resource management, along with the application of AI technologies, to systematically explore how AI is reshaping human resource management practices. Building on this analysis, the study further reflects on the implications of these transformations for faculty management models in higher education, aiming to provide insights for exploring innovative approaches to building and managing university faculty teams in the AI era.
