Listening and Accompaniment, Reconstructing Hope — Case Counseling for Students with Depressive Emotions
Abstract
The visitor is a high school student experiencing depressive emotions, facing family conflicts, peer isolation, and declining academic performance. The student exhibits symptoms such as poor appetite, insomnia, anxiety, and engages in non-suicidal self-injury behaviors. During counseling, the psychological teacher guides the student to recognize the social support around them through the lens of positive psychology, explores ways to solve problems, activates their inner strength, and engages in collaboration with the family and school to listen and accompany the student, helping to rebuild hope.
